UPDATE: SEE WHAT GOVERNORS DID AFTER MEETING BUHARI OVER MINIMUM WAGE

Governors keep silent over N30,000 minimum wage after meeting Buhari

There was mix of confusion and surprise among journalists in Aso Rock, the seat of power in Nigeria located in Abuja, as state governors who met with President Muhammadu Buhari kept mum after the meeting on Monday, November 19. It was learnt that part of the discussions at the meeting centred on the lingering issue of the N30,000 minimum wage demanded by the organised labour. Daily Trust reports that the governors in attendance included Akinwunmi Ambode of Lagos, Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi of Enugu, Atiku Bagudu of Kebbi and Abdulaziz Yari of Zamfara.
